Tiny Cabin

Life comes and goes in seasons, each one similar yet different from the rest. This summer, my wife and I escaped to The Adirondacks. It was our first trip alone together since the birth of our son two years ago.

The trick to navigating life’s seasons is to hold on to those things that make you… you. While also accepting things will change. We used to hike and camp in New Mexico’s public lands and national forests every long weekend. The ease of accessing wild spaces has been one thing I’ve missed in our transition to New York.

I can’t wait to explore this state more.

Food, Family and Love: Jessi & Robert Randazzo

While we often reminisce about the food, venue or music, I shot this documentary to capture the special memories — marked by laughter and tears — that we hold dear long after our wedding day.

Congratulations, Jessi and Robert Randazzo. Thank you for hosting our families to celebrate your love and journey together on a beautiful, October day in Northern Virginia.

Dear Dylan

In May 2018, my wife and I welcomed our first child. There are few experiences as intimate as labor, and ours transformed our relationship. How and where a woman chooses to give birth should be on her terms, with support from her family, friends and trusted birthing expert.

For more information about your options, visit Improving Birth (https://improvingbirth.org/) and consider attending a birthing class near you—this list of Long Island educators helped us advocate for ourselves: https://www.stonybrookmedicine.edu/patientcare/midwifery/educators/bradley-lamaze.
