Brian Erickson

Brian is a freelance videographer and media strategist with over a decade of experience designing communications campaigns and writing values-driven stories that inspire audiences to take action.

 

Grounded in traditional media advocacy and messaging best practices, Brian combines film theory with emerging media and documentary practices to produce memorable videos about how we create a more equitable and sustainable world.

Prior to completing his M.A. in Media Studies at The New School, Brian led and supported campaigns of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Border Rights Center in support of just and fair immigration reform and holding border agents accountable for human rights abuses.

 

He also holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Global Studies from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Brian loves good coffee, craft breweries, and spends weekends camping or hiking with his partner, son and their boisterous dog.
